1. Acceptance of Terms By scheduling, accepting, or receiving any services from Alligator Epoxy & Coatings ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not engage our services. These Terms apply to all residential, commercial, and specialty coating projects performed by Alligator Epoxy & Coatings in Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas.

2. Services Provided Alligator Epoxy & Coatings provides the following professional flooring services: Residential Garage Floor Coatings, Metallic Epoxy Systems, Flake (Chip) Epoxy Systems, Polyaspartic Coatings, Pool Deck Coatings, Patio Coatings, Commercial Floor Coatings, Concrete Sealing & Surface Preparation, and Floor Repair & Resurfacing. The scope of each project will be agreed upon prior to commencement and documented in a written estimate or work order.

3. Estimates & Quotes All estimates are free of charge and based on an initial assessment of the project area. Final pricing may vary if additional surface damage, repairs, or unforeseen conditions are discovered during preparation. The Client will be informed of any changes before additional work proceeds. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

4. Payment Terms A deposit may be required prior to scheduling, as specified in the project estimate. The remaining balance is due upon project completion before the crew leaves the premises. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, and major credit/debit cards. Returned checks will incur a $35 fee. Overdue balances beyond 10 days of completion may be subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee.

5. Scheduling & Cancellations We ask that Clients provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid. Alligator Epoxy & Coatings reserves the right to reschedule due to weather or circumstances beyond our control and will notify the Client as soon as reasonably possible.

6. Client Responsibilities Prior to the scheduled service date, the Client agrees to: remove all vehicles, furniture, and personal belongings from the project area; ensure pets are secured away from the work area; provide reasonable access to water and electricity if required; disclose any known issues with the concrete surface including previous coatings or chemical treatments; and ensure the project area is dry and free of standing water. Failure to prepare the area as required may result in delays, additional charges, or rescheduling.

7. Surface Preparation Alligator Epoxy & Coatings uses professional diamond grinding equipment to prepare concrete surfaces prior to coating application. This process may generate dust and debris. We take precautions to minimize mess, but the Client acknowledges that some dust and residue may be present in adjacent areas. We are not responsible for pre-existing cracks or damage that may affect the final coating unless crack repair is explicitly included in the written estimate.

8. Curing & Post-Installation Care To protect your new floor, the Client agrees to: allow foot traffic only after the minimum cure time specified by our technician (typically 4–6 hours for polyaspartic systems); not drive vehicles onto the coated surface for a minimum of 24 hours; avoid placing heavy objects on the surface for at least 24 hours; and follow all care and maintenance guidelines provided at project completion. Alligator Epoxy & Coatings is not responsible for damage resulting from failure to follow post-installation care instructions.

9. Warranty Alligator Epoxy & Coatings stands behind our work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Should any defects in materials or workmanship appear within the warranty period specified in your project agreement, we will return to address the issue at no additional cost. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, misuse, chemical spills, heavy impacts, acts of nature, or pre-existing structural issues. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to alligator@americanalligatorepoxy.com within the warranty period.

10. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alligator Epoxy & Coatings shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for that specific project.

11. Licensing & Insurance Alligator Epoxy & Coatings is fully licensed and insured in the state of Florida. Proof of insurance is available upon request. All work is performed in accordance with applicable local codes and regulations in Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas.

12. Photography & Marketing Alligator Epoxy & Coatings reserves the right to photograph completed projects for use in our portfolio, website, and social media. Photos will not include identifiable personal information. If you prefer your project not be photographed, please notify us in writing prior to the start of the project.

13. Governing Law These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Duval County, Florida.

14. Changes to Terms Alligator Epoxy & Coatings reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and made available upon request. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
